The 1957 Group’s Jingle Belles Afternoon Tea Party on Saturday was a great success and raised £3,500 for the new fitness suite.
Mums and grannies enjoyed the event and one lucky mum went home with the star Raffle prize – a Mulberry handbag.
There was a prize-winner on every table and, with around 80 raffle prizes kindly donated by local businesses and supporters, most guests went home with a prize.
The guests were treated to a fashion show from Kate’s Boutique in Giffnock – thanks to the mums who ‘volunteered’ to be models on the day.
The visitors also got to browse various gift stalls to pick up some Christmas presents before enjoying some tasty sandwiches, sweet treats, tea, coffee and some prosecco.
It was the perfect way to kick off the Christmas festivities and everyone enjoyed the event.
Thanks to the 1957 Group committee members who organised the afternoon – the members are already planning next year’s event and will announce a date shortly.
