Pupils kicked off their 'De-Stress Week' with a laughter workshop, hand and head massages and lifestyle sessions on Monday.
The first stress-busting event saw S4-6 pupils learning all about living well with fun activities led by Joyworks! founder, Sharon Miller who hosted 'laughter yoga' classes, encouraging pupils to forget their worries and have a good giggle.
Laughter yoga is an exercise where anyone can laugh for no reason, combining laughter exercises with yoga breathing, bringing more energy to the body and the brain making people feel more energetic and healthy.
Returning for her fifth session with the pupils, Sharon said: "When it comes to exam time, laughter really is the best medicine.
"We've all had such a fun afternoon. It's a great stress reliever for a lot of the pupils and today has shown just how beneficial laughter can be."
Everyone had a chance to try something new in the Assembly Hall with head and hand massages on offer from Barbara William, Shindo Kaur and Mary Laverty.
Pupils patiently waited to find out their blood pressure with retired midwife, Lucy Watson, who delivered top tips on how to keep calm.
There was plenty for everyone to enjoy over lunch with smoothies and fresh fruit on offer.
S4 pupil, Iqra Ali said: "I've really enjoyed learning all about the benefits of relaxation today, I’m currently studying for my exams and it's been so interesting to hear about how taking a break can really help improve your concentration when revising."
