Photography Competition

Congratulations to the winners of the annual photography competition - pupils from across the years received recognition for their incredible images.

Pupils gathered in the library to find out the winners of the ‘Close Up’ and ‘My Environment’ categories, announced by the Rector.

The entries were judged by Mr Gambles and Depute Rector, Mr Campbell, along with some help from Mrs Tooth, who runs the Photography Club.

Prizes went to Sophia Roy, Hannah Fairbairn, Sowmi Gopalakrishan, Niamh Molloy, Callum Murray, Natasha Dick, Katie McMillan, and Adam Tobias. Congratulation overall ‘outstanding image’ was awarded to Niamh Molloy in S3.

The Rector commented on the great skill demonstrated by everyone who took part in the competition and expressed his excitement about the new opportunity to study Higher photography in S6 for the school’s budding photographers.

Very well done to everyone involved this year, with a special thank you going to Dr Cochrane for putting up such a wonderful display!
