S4 and S5 pupils achieved success in a nationwide Physics competition – winning a number of gold, silver and bronze awards.
Poppy Azmi achieved a Gold Award in the British Physics Olympiad Physics Challenge 2016. Hamzah Hanif, Wan-Hew Tran and Katie Zhang achieved Silver awards and Josh Bicknell, Ben Bicknel,l Carter Cohen, Finlay Drummond, Freddie Morton, Amy Stewart and Ahsan Rushd won Bronze 2 Awards

S5 pupils Christopher Docherty achieved a Gold Award in the British Physics Olympiad AS Challenge 2016.
Daniel Boulton-Jones and Animesh Mishra received Bronze 1 Awards while Gareth Williams won a Bronze 2 Award.
Beth Barbour, Ruby Carter, Rian Chaudhry, Sarah Eunson, Sabahath Khan, Rashmi Kulkarni, Michael MacCallum, Rowan Pathi, Karl Rivett, Shiraz Shafi and Craig Smith all received commendations.
