Talented siblings Myles and April MacAulay racked up a number of competition wins last weekend to secure a place in a UK-wide Irish music final in London.
Musicians Myles, P4, and April, P2, spent all day Sunday performing at the all Scotland fleadh in Motherwell.
Myles, eight, who plays the piano accordion, came first in the under 12 solo competition and is now the Scottish champion for that age group.
He notched up another first in the under 12 duet competition alongside April and both are now the Scottish duet champions.
Myles then made it a hat-trick coming first with the Grupai Ceoil ensemble. He also played in the ceilidh band which came second. April featured in both.
The seven-year-old also enjoyed solo success coming 3rd in the under 12 solo fiddle competition which had 32 competitors. And April and two friends came first in the under 12 trio category – making them Scottish champions.
Both Myles and April, pictured in their St Roch’s Ceilidh Band uniform, will travel to London in June to compete for the All Britain title in each genre.
