Hutchesons' has a long-standing commitment to Drama. The adaptable 100-seat performance space and teaching areas
within the new building will be a valuable and exciting addition to the Beaton Road site and will offer the best possible facilities for productions and the teaching of Drama now and into the future.
Researching 14 years of our Senior shows, from "Oklahoma" in 1998 to "Carousel" in 2011, has given me the opportunity to understand just how many pupils have stepped onto the stage and performed to thousands of family members, friends and supporters. I hope you are happy to have been part of this very special journey.
It is my wish that the new Drama studios will build on the legacy you have left, and will provide a benchmark to which current and future generations of Hutchie pupils can aspire and from where they can continue.
