Hutchesons' After-School Club

I love fresh fruit kebabs with chocolate and I enjoy Family Fortunes and netball. More netball, please! (Alice)

Hutchesons' After-School Club, based at the Primary School at Kingarth Street, is open every day during the school term, except on staff in-service days, and is open to all pupils. The club has experienced staff who are committed to an ongoing training programme in SVQ Playwork and other appropriate qualifications.

Our aim at Hutchesons' After School Club is to offer to all pupils:

  • A happy, supportive, welcoming and secure environment and an atmosphere of trust, openness and fun;
  • A range of activities that includes sports, arts and crafts, drama, dance and play; and

  • A quiet area for reflection and reading, and a space for homework to be completed (although not checked) under supervision.I liked knitting a purse and playing in the Wendy House. (Emily)
