P4 pupils learn Scottish Country Dancing in PE!

P4 Scottish Country Dancing

We went to the hall and we tried to defend and attack a castle. We did it twice, one battle was the Battle of Stirling Bridge and the other was the Battle of Bannockburn. It was fun and one time I got hit by a big wooden shield, but I was OK!

We transferred water from one cup to another with a straw. We raced to see which team could transfer the most water in one minute.

We made stone soup. All of my class brought in a vegetable. We all chopped something up and I mixed the half-finished soup as well. After a few minutes we got to taste the stone soup. It was delicious!

We made Empire biscuits one afternoon. Once we had made one we wrote instructions and afterwards we got to eat them. YUMMY!

We made a trebuchet in technology. We even got to chop wood! It was a good experience

In Primary 4 we changed the colour of a flower in science. We also took a flower apart.

We drew around our shadows at 9.30 and found out where the sun sets and where it rises.
