Primary Five

Primary 5 Pirates

You learn to touch type so that when you're older you're not taking so long to type because you're not looking up and down all the time.

In craft you do more advanced things. I like this because I enjoy sewing so I am quite enthusiastic.

I liked making a PSE poster because I thought it was fun to do it with my friends and I found out more about how horrible bullying is.

My number one all-time favourite thing about Primary 5 was all the great things we got to try out in PE like the long jump, the high jump and the kilometre cup.

I loved ‘Be the Teacher'. This is where you are the teacher. It was good because each person does a different thing sand gets more interesting each week. I loved learning new languages. I really enjoyed this because I never knew that I could ever speak a different language.

I really liked going to Lunderston Bay because we got to go down to the rock pools and find types of plants. We even saw crabs.

I loved doing the poetry and speech competitions because you can stand up in front of your class and show them what you can do and you can do it on any subject you like.

We saw a heart being dissected!

I learned a lot going to Culross. I would not want to be a coal minter or a salt panner, because they were treated so poorly. They were not allowed to be buried in the churchyard.

I like maths because I have learned how to do decimals, vertical division, vertical subtraction and lots of more things! I like that we are in Maths sets with people of the same level.

In gymnastics we could play with ropes, monkey bars and mini trampolines. We also did hockey, dancing, swimming and athletics in PE, but I liked gymnastics the best.

I love grammar because it helps me with other things, for example, spelling, writing and comprehension.

I think that ICT with Mrs Loughran is fabulous. We have covered many topics from publisher to touch-typing and the World Wide Web.

Current Affairs is good for your general knowledge and helps me know what is going on in the world.
