Three S5 pupils from the Music Higher class at Hutchesons' were among a group of talented young composers from selected schools around Scotland who had their music premiered by the Paragon Ensemble in November.

Sale of Crafts is a Roaring Success
Primary 7 pupils sold their entire stock in an astonishing 15 minutes of frenzied shopping on 5 December, with the proceeds - almost £600 - going to CHAS, the school charity for 2008-2009.

Oliver!
The November 2008 production of Oliver!, with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, was mounted by more than 90 pupils from the S1/S2 Drama Club and the matinee and three evening performances played to packed houses.

Primary 1: Healthy and Happy Children

Swinging Sixties
Kingarth Street stepped back in time in November as Primary 7 relived the ‘Swinging Sixties'. Pupils and teachers transformed themselves into celebrities from that decade, coming to school dressed as their alter-egos.

Haunted Hutchesons' has Happy Halloween!
Seven primary pupils from Hutchesons' organised a Halloween event for their fellow pupils and raised £820 for Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
