Sporting Success

Athletics

Both the Girls' and Boys' Athletics teams have won their respective independent schools indoor athletics cups. The Hutchesons' Girls won the Auldhouse Cup for the third consecutive years, competing against the High School of Glasgow, Glasgow Academy, Craigholme and St Columba's School.

The Minerva Cup is competed for by boys at he High School of Glasgow, Glasgow Academy, Kelvinside Academy and St Aloysius College. The Hutchesons' Boys won it this March for the 14th consecutive year!

Showjumping

Megan Martin S1Megan Martin [S1] came second in Class 3 of the recent Scottish Schools Showjumping Championship in Carluke. Megan and her pony, Clover, jumped in the Hutchesons' colours!

 

 

Hockey

As defending champions, the Hutchesons' 1st XI Girls Hockey team went into the Scottish Schools Cup on 10 March as favourites. Having successfully navigated the morning pool format, they lost to George Watson's College in the Semi-Final on penalty flicks. Watson's went on to win the Cup.
