Spring Fling

Melanie Goldberg, 1st prize 13-16 yearsFive pupils have won prizes in the Strathbungo Society Children and Young People's Art Competition 2011. Using ‘Spring in Strathbungo' as a starting point, pupils from both the secondary and primary schools entered their arwork for a competition run by the Strathbungo Society.

 

 

 

  • Haaris Bhatti [P7]: 1st prize, 9-12 category years
  • Katelin Murray [S1]: 2nd prize, 9-12 years
  • Amy Dickson [S1]: 2nd prize in the ‘line drawing category'.
  • Melanie Goldberg [S4]: 1st prize, 13-16 years
  • John MacFadyen [S4]: 3rd prize, 13-16 years

The judges and organisers of the competition commented on the high standard of work submitted by the pupils from Hutchesons'. Prizes were awarded at the Annual Spring Fling event, which took place at Queen's Park Church on Saturday 26 March
