Class of 1986 Reunion
25 years ago this summer Crocodile Dundee was a hit movie, Madonna had just released True Blue and the class of 1986 said a fond fare well to Hutchesons’ Grammar ready to start life beyond the school gates.
On 10 September this year over 50 of them travelled from London, Bolton, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Inverness, Wales and New York to take a trip down memory lane at Beaton Road.
Friendships were renewed, stories were shared and The 6/8s Band (including former pupils) ensured that the party went with a swing.
The favourite song of the evening was Queen’s ‘We are the champions’ and as the dancing shoes were finally kicked off thanks was given to the class reunion organisers Alison Marshal and Dorothy McFarlane.
