Find the right key to unlock their musical talent

Shall Brothers Be
There is a rich tradition of musical accomplishment at Hutchesons' and around 400 individual instrumental and singing lessons take place every week at the primary and secondary schools. These range from beginner to advanced levels and many pupils undertake Associated Board Exams at higher grade gaining additional valuable UCAS points for University entry.

Shall Brothers BeThe school offers a full range of instrumental and vocal ensembles at every level allowing children to perform and participate in high profile events, building confidence whilst nurturing and improving their musical talent. There are reduced cost group options available for beginners.

To help parents discover if music tuition would be the right choice for their child there will be an informal drop in taster session at the primary school on Thursday 3 November, from 7pm until 9pm.

The event is supported by Biggars Music and there will be expert advice and demonstrations from our specialist team of instrumental instructors with an extensive range of instruments for pupils and parents to try.

These will include:
Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe, Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, French Horn, Tuba, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Percussion, Bagpipes, Scottish Drums, Guitar, Piano

We would ask that interested parents e-mail a note of attendance to music@hutchesons.org along with thier child's name, form and any preferred instruments they would like to try.

Further information is available from the Music Administrator on 0141 433 4436.
