For the past two years Hutchesons' has been leading an EU-funded Comenius Partnership involving partnership schools from Nurnberg, Bavaria and Radomsko, Poland.
Pupils and staff from all three schools worked together on joint assignments, such as photo-shoots, painting, writing and blogging, as well as taking part in community initiatives like tree planting.
Although the project came to an end in June the school continues to promote cultural exchange by maintaining strong international links.
Here Depute Rector Jim McDougall shares his reflections on a recent inspiring school visit to Radomsko and Auschwitz and Head of Art Susan Breckenridge reveals how the Art Department welcomed a talented visitor from Nurburg.
