The S6 Charity Committee announces a colourful new project for the benefit of our school Charity Mary’s Meals:
The S6 Charity Committee have been trying to find new ways to raise as much money as possible for this year’s charity ‘Mary’s Meals’. We would like to announce an exciting one-year-only charity project with the company ‘Trespass’.
Trespass is a well-known international company which specialises in high quality outdoor wear. Our project has involved the Charity Committee working closely with the owner and designers of Trespass to come up with an item of clothing to be put on the school uniform list for the school year. The item that has been chosen is a scarf. These scarves have been designed and made specifically for Hutchesons’ Grammar.
These scarves will only cost £10 and, with your support, we hope to raise up to £3000, which would ultimately help feed around 75,000 children in Africa. They will be available to order any time from this week onwards from form/class teachers or at school events, such as the forthcoming Winter Fair. They will be distributed when we get them in stock, which will be before the Christmas holidays.
We are most grateful for the support of Trespass in working with us on this project.
We hope you help us in our aim of giving these children a better living and thank you for your on-going support.
