Winter fair - Hans Sachs

The 19 November saw a great turnout at Beaton Road for the 1957 Group Winter Fair.  There were some very well stocked stalls with plenty of home-baking, crafts and gifts, toys, books and a fantastic raffle with star prizes of an ipad 2 and luxury hamper. 

Visitors also had the chance to support school charity Mary’s Meals by purchasing the new school scarf and to support cultural exchange by sampling traditional delights sold by pupils from our German partner school Hans Sachs in Nurnberg. 

The fair was once again a great success with around £5000 raised on the day, the 1957 Group hopes this figure will rise to around £6,500 once raffle and silent auction figures are included.
