Primary 6 get on the ball for Mary’s Meals

 

P6  Mary's Meals CupA group of primary 6 pupils started a charity football cup for Mary’s Meals. The Charity Cup was the brain child of Osama Bashir in P6B and has raised nearly £40.

In all 40 children participated in a league over five weeks. The five aside football for primary 5 and 6 was played in the gym hall at Kingarth Street. After a nail biting final Team D, captained by Kai Bedi in P6O, were victorious.

Everyone had a great time and they were delighted to be able to raise enough money for provide around 1,000 meals for children affected by poverty in Africa.
