Get your ticket for the School Charity Talent Show
An excited buzz is developing across the Secondary School as young performers make their final preparations for the annual Hutchesons’ Talent Show, which will be held in the Assembly Hall at Beaton Road on Monday 6 February.
Pupils from S1-S6 will take to the stage in front of a packed house, to show off their talents in the performing arts. With big band sounds and performances from singers, dancers and boy bands it promises to be a fantastic evening’s entertainment.
The contestants faced tough competition at the auditions for the chance to perform at the event, which is a highlight of the school calendar.
The 2011 show was a great success with rapper Yash Singh (then S3, pictured above) taking home the top prize. Duo Laurie Anderson and Sarah Cooper (then S5, pictured right) were runners up.
The Talent Show is extremely popular and we would encourage you to book your tickets early.
Tickets cost just £5 and order forms will be available from 16 January at the school office. Doors open at 6.30pm and the show will start at 7pm.
Proceeds will be donated to this year’s school charity Mary’s Meals.
