Joseph's Dreamcoat Draws the Crowds
On the Stage at Hutchesons'!
Crowds flocked to the junior production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in November. S1 and S2 pupils were delighted to stage the popular Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical, based on the biblical tale of Jacob's son Joseph and his 11 brothers. It was first produced almost 40 years ago.
Around 150 pupils were involved as actors, dancers, singers, stage crew and technical staff. The role of Joseph was shared by Gregory Clark and Scott Meenan over four performances. Joseph's 11 brothers were played by girls for two performances!
