The Conservation Area team, lead by Euan Greer in S6, has planted three oak tree saplings and a Buddleia, which will hopefully flower next year and encourage butterflies into the area. The team is working hard to prepare the area for the winter months by clearing weeds to prevent them from spreading, and clearing up around the tree saplings so that they have room to breathe. The team also hopes to plant hundreds of daffodils on the bank before October week. All volunteers are welcome to join in!
