Sixth-year pupils Ruoxi Lin, Nadia Catena (left) and Calum McKay are three of 180 Scottish pupils who have had their Higher design work selected to appear in a national exhibition organised by SQA.
Currently on display at The Scottish Parliament buildings in Edinburgh, this artwork is being showcased by SQA to demonstrate the standards required to acheive top marks in art and design courses.
The launch took place on Tuesday 28 October and pupils and their parents were invited to attend the prestigious event opened by Alex Fergusson MSP, Presiding Officer for The Scottish Parliament.
The SQA Art Exhibition will transfer to The People's Palace, Glasgow, from 1 December to 16 January 2009 and the National Gallery of Scotland, Edinburgh, from 22 January to 19 March.
