Seven primary pupils from Hutchesons' organised a Halloween event for their fellow pupils and raised £820 for Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
‘Everyone came into school wearing their Halloween costume', said Elinor Grant [P7], ‘and paid a pound for the privilege. Pupils also had the chance to perform their party piece to four judges from Primary Seven!'
The seven girls, all from Primary 6 and 7, recruited volunteers from their classes, and organised a massive lunchtime fair. ‘The stalls included an unlucky dip, home baking, smoothies and competitions with prizes' said Colette Watt and Jenny Anderson [P6].
