Staff meet prize-winning Author
Members of the staff book group took a lunchtime off to meet Glasgow-based author, Beatrice Colin, whose recent book The Luminous Life of Lily Aphrodite was selected as a Richard & Judy Best Read 2009 and was shortlisted for the Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust Book Awards 2009, in partnership with the Scottish Arts Council.
Staff had read Beatrice Colin's book and came armed with questions, delighted to be in the role of pupil for once! According to Maths teacher Jean Matthews, meeting a 'real-life' author face-to-face was invaluable.
