Former pupils from the Class of 1962 got together, many for the first time in more than 45 years, at a reunion at Beaton Road on 24 April. Several of the women met at Kingarth Street, where they willingly stepped back in time and recalled the tiniest details such as cracks in the floor (still there!) and how they felt during the daily manoeuvre of more than 700 girls into the Main Hall for prayers (nervous that something would go wrong, but it never did!).
It was back to the future for a photo in front of the new Library at Kingarth Street, which all agreed was a great improvement.
The whole group met with the Rector, Dr Ken Greig, for drinks and dinner in the Beaton Road Library, which the men present knew as their gym!
