A group of around 100 former pupils and friends of Hutchesons' gathered for the annual 1641 Society Lunch in the Fotheringay Centre on 5 June. Led by Hon President Graham MacAllister (C1962), the 1641 Society recognises those who have remembered the School with a legacy.
Lunch was preceded by a recital from current pupils, including solo pieces and a movement from a Beethoven Piano Trio, played by Hebba Benhaghla (Piano), Gordon Biggart (Cello) and Charlotte McKechnie (Violin).
Following Lunch, Sarah Watts (C2004) made a fascinating presentation on her recent journey to the Sub-Antarctic, including following in Shackleton's footsteps on South Georgia.
