Seven S6 pupils from Hutchesons' who successfully completed the Mark Scott Leadership for Life programme alongside pupils from Holyrood Secondary, donned glad rags to receive their Mark Scott Leadership for Life Awards at the Radisson Hotel on 10 June. The awards were presented by Niall and Judith Scott, founders of the Award, and John Beattie, former Scottish rugby internationalist, was Master of Ceremonies. Staff and parents were extremely proud of the pupils achievements this year and the positive impact their projects have had on the local community.
The Mark Scott Foundation was founded in 1996 in memory of Mark Scott, the 16-year-old Glasgow schoolboy, who was murdered in 1995 in an unprovoked sectarian attack.
