Medals for Pupils in Glasgow Art Competition
Around 50 pupils visited Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery recently to take part in Glasgow Museums' Annual Art Competition for Young People.
The following pupils have won medals and awards:
Holly Lau [S3] GOLD medal
Ashley Neilson [S1] GOLD medal
Alastair Currie [S1] SILVER medal
Robbie Jessiman [S2] Highly commended
The Glasgow Museums' Annual Art Competition for Young People is sponsored by the Friends of Glasgow Museums and is now over 100 years old.
The winners will receive their awards in September and their work will be on display at Scotland Street Museum from 8 October to 8 November 2009.
