Former Pupil Publishes Book about Ian Richardson

Sharon Mail C1972Sharon Mail (C1972) has written a book about the late Scottish actor, Ian Richardson, who was a personal friend. "We Could Possibly Comment - Ian Richardson Remembered" was published by Matador in August 2009.

Following a business degree, Sharon spent many years with Scottish Mutual Assurance, Abbey National and Banco Santander, until she joined the Jewish Telegraph Group of Newspapers in 2006 as their Scottish journalist.

She left in April 2008 to concentrate on writing the book and has been writing on a freelance basis since then. She is a member of Strathkelvin Writers and is former public relations officer for the Scottish Association of Writers. In May 2008 she won the Writers' Summer School Diamond Anniversary Article Competition.
