Biologists are Best in Scotland
Hutchesons' has been named as "Top School in Scotland" in the 2010 British Biology Olympiad. Following exams taken by the pupils earlier in 2010, seven S6 pupils at Hutchesons' received medals or certificates.
Silver medal: Anna O'Donoghue, Sidharth Sharma
Bronze medal: Katie Gardner
Highly commended certificate: Arun Krishna, Neil Watson, Russell Park
Commended certificate: Varshini Manoharan.
Sidharth Sharma has also been honoured as the pupil with the highest marks in the 2009 Higher in Human Biology. He plans to study Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
