Hutchesons' Film Unit On Location in Germany

NurembergMembers of the Hutchesons' Film Unit - staff and pupils - fly out to Nürnberg on Monday to take part in a week-long, media-based project in collaboration with staff and students from Hutchesons' partner schools Hans-Sachs Gymnasium in Germany and I Lyceum Ogolnoksztalcace in Radomsko, Poland. All three schools have received funding from the EU to undertake a collaborative approach to learning within a European context. The study visit is the latest phase in the School's two-year EU -funded Comenius Project, examining changing landscapes in three European cities.

"We'll be filming a range of environments, exploring how Nürnberg is making creative use of urban spaces," says HFU Director Michael Clark [S6]. It will be an exciting opportunity to meet and work with pupils of our own age from other schools and develop our film making skills."
