Jewellery Expert Visits Hutchesons'

Professor Elizabeth Moignard in the Art DepartmentElizabeth Moignard, Professor of Classical Archaeology at Glasgow University, visited Hutchesons' to give a talk to S5 and S6 pupils about contemporary studio jewellery. She brought with her some examples from her own collection, including works by Nel Linssen, Susan Cross, Lin Cheung and Keiko Mokaide. The talk focused on her collecting habit as well as the techniques and materials used by designers from different countries.

Pupils in S5 are studying jewellery as part of the Higher Art and Design Studies critical and evaluative studies.
