Meeting the Mathematical Challenge Four pupils from Hutchesons' won the regional final of the Team Maths Challenge run by the UK Mathematical Trust in March. They go on to compete for the UKMT Team Maths Challenge trophy at the Royal Horticultural Halls,London, on 21 June this year.

Big Bang 2010 National Science and Engineering Competition Hutchesons' has a long tradition of success in the national CREST (Creativity in Science and Technology) competition and 2010 is no different. Six pupils all won prestigious prizes at the Manchester event.

Academic Results 2009 Pupils in S5 performed very well in the 2009 SQA Higher exams, with 62% of all Higher results at 'A' grade and 76% (146 pupils) gaining five or more Higher passes.
