Hutchesons Celebrates National Biodiversity Week in its own Grounds
National Biodiversity Week runs from 17 to 25 May, and staff would like to put in the kind of plants that are especially attractive to birds, bees and butterflies. We would be most grateful for donations of plants. Please read the whole story for further

Young Enterprise Business Wins 1st Prize
Trading under the name ‘Acid Cherry’, a group of S6 pupils from Hutchesons’ Grammar School won the Young Enterprise Prize at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 15 December, out of dozens of business teams fielded from 35 different schools.

We Will Rock You
And the pupils certainly did rock the capacity audiences during their five-night run. The Hutchesons’ production, which is only the second in Scotland, involved well over 100 pupils, on stage, in the band or behind the scenes.
25 June 2007- Pupils Perform at Glasgow Music Festival
A Primary 7 pupil from Hutchesons’ won the prestigious Hugh S Roberton Memorial Trophy for the best performer under the age of 14 at the recent Glasgow Music Festival.

Four S6 pupils from Hutchesons' won the PRI British Science Final at Sheffield Hallam University on 11 September, out of a field of 35 finalists.
