Beaton Road Librarian, Mrs Hume, reports on a fantastic visit from Helen Grant, whose debut novel, 'The Vanishing of Katharina Linden', won an ALA Alex Award in 2011.

S5 Pupils form Medical Union
S5 pupils Usman Abdul-Quayum and Mazen Allam founded the Medical Union this session. The first meeting benefited from a guest lecture by Dr Saket Priyadarshi entilted 'From Malaria to Methadone'.

Senior students returned to Hutchesons' early from study leave to take part in the first rehearsal for the summer school production of Les Misérables.
