Multi-coloured Elephants on parade!
On Wednesday the 21 September Kingarth Street became a sea of colour as the Primary One took part in a special Elmer parade, inspired by the story of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant a children's picture book by British author David McKee.

P1 Pupils enjoy their first Ceilidh!
Pupils in all three Primary 1 classes at Hutchesons' enjoyed their very first ceilidh on 28 January. Each class recited a poem, sang Scottish songs and performed two Scottish dances.

P1 Pupils explore Scottish and Local Culture
All the Primary one classes enjoyed their January ceilidh, singing Scottish songs such, dancing a highland fling and reciting Scottish poems, while dressed in their tartan best.
