Multi-coloured Elephants on parade!
On Wednesday the 21 September Kingarth Street became a sea of colour as the Primary One took part in a special Elmer parade, inspired by the story of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant a children's picture book by British author David McKee.

Kingarth Street takes part in Glasgow Open Doors Day
On Saturday the 17 September the Kingarth Street Primary once again took part in the Glasgow wide Open Doors Day. The event proved a great success and over 150 enthusiastic visitors toured the school.

Primary Pupils enjoy Dance Workshop with Choreographer
Choreographer Susanna Curtis ran dance workshops for P5 pupils at Kingarth Street in June. Born in Glasgow, but based in Nuremberg, Glasgow's twin city, Curtis draws inspiration from her trips between the two cities to create original danceworks.

Primary Pupils race away with Medals
Pupils in Primaries 6 and 7 came home with two golds, a silver and bronze from the Glasgow Primary Athletics Finals at Scotstoun on 25 May. The Girls took overall 1st place and the Boys 4th place.
