Chef John Quigley from Glasgow's Red Onion restaurant visited Kingarth Street just before Halloween and showed P3 pupils how to make pumpkin soup.

Crafty Kids
Who knew that crafts would be so popular? In just 15 minutes, Primary 7 pupils sold several months' worth of hand-made crafts, raising £865 for CHAS.

Anniversary of The Very Hungry Caterpillar
The hall at Kingarth Street was a mass of antennae when the Hutchesons' celebration of the 40th anniversary of Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar came to a rousing conclusion on 3 June with a celebratory assembly and lunchtime fair.

Brush up your Shakespeare!
Primary 7 pupils (and their class teachers) donned Elizabethan garb on 21 May and entered the parallel world of Shakespearean England, relocated for the day to the Fotheringay Centre for the second Hutchesons' Shakespeare Festival.

Heartstart Training begins for Primary Pupils
After securing a grant from the British Heart Foundation, two enterprising S6 pupils have started implementing their Heartstart UK programme to provide emergency life support training to primary pupils.

Primary School Musical: Gamblers, Missionaries and Showgirls!
It was back to New York in the 1930s for Primary 7 pupils at Kingarth Street when, in association with Josef Weinberger, they presented Guys and Dolls, with words and music by Frank Loesser.
