Four members of the catering staff at Hutchesons' took part in the Race for Life in June. Helen Lewis, Sarah Mullen, Isabel Simpson and Fiona Donnolly raised almost £1,000.

Teachers' Mile raises funds for Action for Children
Staff at Hutchesons' braved the cold and ran a mile around the School's track in the Alix Jamieson Stadium, urged on by many of their pupils.

Staff retire after 112 years of Service!
At the close of the 2009-2010 session on 25 June, Hutchesons' bade farewell to four senior members of teaching staff who have given 112 years of combined service between them.

Into Thin Air for Cystic Fibrosis
Michelle McMonagle, PA to the Bursar at Hutchesons', took a leap of faith recently, when she abseiled 100 feet fron the roof of the South Stand at Celtic park to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Primary teachers Gareth West and Dawn Waugh, plus PE teacher Graham Dunlop, pedalled for Scotland in September, cycling from Glasgow to Edinburgh.

Fifteen Fit and Feisty Staff run the Women's 10K
Fifteen members of staff braved the threat of heavy rain to complete the Women's 10K in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, on 10 May.

Members of the staff book group took a lunchtime off to meet Glasgow-based author, Beatrice Colin, whose recent book The Luminous Life of Lily Aphrodite was selected as a Richard & Judy Best Read 2009.

Teacher Cycles from Glasgow to Turin - for Cystic Fibrosis
Hutchesons' Grammar teacher Donald Paton didn't spend any of his Summer holiday in the check-in queue. Instead he cycled from Glasgow to Turin, Italy, to raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
