  The HET Scheme allows the following nominated governors:

  • Two persons to be nominated by the Church of Scotland Presbytery of Glasgow from their own number;
  • One person to be nominated by the Senatus Academicus of the University of Glasgow;
  • One person to be nominated by the Merchants House of Glasgow;
  • One person to be nominated by the Trades House of Glasgow;
  • Two persons to be nominated by the Patrons of Hutchesons' Hospital of whom one shall be a minister of religion officiating in Glasgow who is not a member of the Church of Scotland;
  • One person to be nominated by the Governors of the Glasgow Educational and Marshall Trust from their own number;
  • One person to be nominated by the Senate of the University of Strathclyde;
  • One person to be nominated by The Hutchesons' Grammar School Association; and
  • One person to be nominated by The Hutchesons' Former Pupils Club.

Not more than nine persons to be co-opted by the governors from among persons of experience which in the opinion of the governors will be of value to the governors in the exercise of their functions under this scheme.
