Fifty excited pupils boarded the coach for Dounans Outdoor Centre on Friday for a wind band rehearsal weekend.
The pupils were drawn from P7 to S6 and for many this was their first band camp.
The standard of the playing on Friday night was good, especially after a lengthy summer holiday, but by Sunday the pupils had raised the level to amazing heights. Max Rodney dazzled the band with a stunning xylophone solo.
The fun continued outside of the rehearsal room with an afternoon exploring the ice cream shop in Aberfoyle, followed by games, a mammoth quiz and a ceilidh in the evenings. All this rehearsal time will prepare the band for entry into the Scottish Wind Band Festival in November.
