A big thank-you to all members of the Hutchie Community for supporting local causes this Christmas, in addition to our charity, the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
Pupils and staff have been busy collecting donations of tins, packets and other essential items for the Auldhouse Food Bank and the St Rollox Asylum Seekers Centre.
A group of S6 girls are raising money to buy gifts for people who are homeless. Working in collaboration with the Glasgow City Mission, the girls hope to make people a package with items such as blankets, gloves, hats etc. just to make the horrible weather a little more bearable.
They will be taking part in the 5K Santa Dash on the 11th so if you would like to donate anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. You can donate here.
The girls are also looking for donations of blankets, gloves, socks and hats so if you would like to donate please leave your items in the boxes under the Christmas tree in the reception foyer.
Finally, this Friday we have our non-uniform day and charity fair to raise money for the Hospice. There will be lots of stalls and pupil challenges to create a fun atmosphere for a very worthwhile cause.
