FP Adam Gordon, C1995, is organising an 11-a-side charity football tournament for former classmates at Queens Park FC to mark turning 40.
The idea for the tournament came after several of Adam’s school friends said they’d like to play a game in a stadium to celebrate the year they turn the big 40.
They have also decided to use the May 20th event to fundraise for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice which is the School’s nominated charity this year.
Adam said: “We all turn 40 this year and we’d really love to play a proper 11-a-side football match in a stadium.
“We’ve decided to turn it into a mini-tournament and I’d like to invite other FP year groups who are roughly the same age – classes of ’93. ’94, and ’96 for example - to join us by putting teams into the tournament.”
If any former pupils would like to enter a team, please email Adam. email@example.com
