The FP council is hosting a dinner in Glasgow on December 10 and to make sure no-one misses out it is being streamed live to former pupils around the world.

There are only 110 tickets for the event which is being held at the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park so make sure you book your seat at the table quickly.

But don’t worry if you can’t make it there in person as the FP council is working in partnership with BlueStar Streaming to stream the dinner live to friends in far flung destinations.

FP President Zoe Mackenzie said: “We need as many Hutchesonians around the globe to join with us in re-igniting our annual gathering of the FP Club. So, if you’re in Tonga, Turkey or Trinidad, we want you to be with us on the evening, actively participating with live Tweets, Facebook posts, and Instagram. We’ll be watching you, watching us, watching you.

“We are delighted that our new Rector, Colin Gambles, will be joining us and sharing his initial thoughts on Hutchesons’ from the Heidy’s perspective. Former Deputy Head Sandy Strang will be our principal speaker.

"Please support the event – buy a ticket, host a table, join us from your single end in Kuala Lumpur, but just be with us on the night. Like us on Facebook, Tweet us, or send us an email to We very much look forward to seeing you on December 10 physically, on screen, or online."
