Lewis in Scotland debut

S5 pupil Lewis Irvine's golf career has soared to new heights in recent weeks - he made his Scotland debut and came runner up in the Scottish Boys Championship.

Lewis made his golfing debut for the national side when he competed against Ireland, Wales and the Netherlands in the last week of the Spring term. He gained the highest points total for his country.

On his return he entered the Scottish Boys' Championships and even though he wasn't seeded, he battled past many big names and reached the final, where he narrowly lost 2 and 1.

An excellent achievement and well done Lewis.
