Grandparents enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment on Friday at the annual Katie Morag Grannies’ Afternoon Tea.
P2 pupils have been learning all about traditional Scottish poetry, songs and dialect. They have also been reading the ‘Katie Morag’ stories which have been used to explore island life.
The children enjoyed designing and making their own 3D models of an island, writing poems about Glasgow and pinpointing iconic Scottish landmarks.
Following the concert, the children were delighted to show off all of their hard work to their families, friends and invited guests.
Very well done to everyone involved in making the annual concert such a success!
