Harry Potter Day 2017

Kingarth Street held a magical dress up day on Thursday as part of Book Week 2017 - with the whole school celebrating Harry Potter Day.

During the week, the pupils and staff transformed the Primary School into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with the Hogwarts Express Train ready to go on the school stage.

The pupils dressed as their favourite characters from the J.K. Rowling books, whilst staff took on the role of Professors, Dobby and even the cupboard under the stairs!

On the day, pupils took part in flying lessons and a Harry Potter General Knowledge Quiz in the Assembly Hall.

During the week, activities included wand making, a magical choir practice, a Flourish and Blotts Second Hand Book Sale, Spell Casting and even a game of Muggle Quidditch!

Thanks go to all staff and pupils who made the magical event such a success.
