Hutchie Does Strictly!

After the roaring success and the hidden talents of our brave staff members last year, Hutchie Does Strictly was destined to return, bigger and better!

Four couples made up of members of staff, after rigorous rehearsal took to the floor in aid of Nets for Life, treating the assembled audience to the delights of the Charleston, Rumba, Tango, and Disco.
The dancers were again of course subjected to the judgements of the illustrious panel, joined by last year's winner Miss Housley. Congratulations to the winners,  Miss Goff and Mr Russell, who wowed judges and all with their dramatic and daring Tango.
The event was successful, breaking the £1000 mark for Nets for Life and organisers Mr Ferguson and Miss McGibbons would like to extend a special thank you to all involved; the S1 Film Club and Mrs McArthur for their 'fly on the wall interviews', Aliex and Helena the Modern Languages Assistants, the indomitable Mrs Ritchie and Mr Blackhall for making Disco a true spectacle and to Mr Scott and Miss Dodds for their fast paced Charleston.

Their well-deserved thanks also goes to Mrs Mungall the splendid scoreboard hostess, Mr McDougall for stepping lightly back into his 'Brucie', the superb security team, headed by Mr Dewar, aided by Mr Dunlop and Mr Auld for saving us all from Mr Adam's offensive Christmas jumper taste and of course returning judges Mr Lang, Mrs Fergusson, Mr Martin and Mr Campbell for their flair, talent and showmanship.

Final recognition must of course go to Mr Ferguson and Miss McGibbons, for being the driving force behind this fantastic event, which does so much for both the School Charity and the School team spirit!
