Ironman teacher

Geography teacher Mr Stirling has raised over £700 after successfully completing the gruelling Ironman Mallorca at the end of September.

Mr Stirling completed a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run in an impressive 12hrs 47 mins.

He said: “This was a new personal best by over 30 minutes. The race was suitably challenging but the Island of Mallorca was a beautiful place to swim ride and run which added to the enjoyment on the day.”

Mr Stirling is raising funds for the A21 Campaign which works to combat Human Trafficking in Scotland and around the world.

He said: “A big thank you to everyone who has already sponsored me and to those who supported me on the day via social media.”
