Ladies’ Tea

In what has been tradition for several years, the Kingarth Street Ladies’ Afternoon Tea was full of musical performances, memorabilia, chats among old friends and plenty of cake!

The Ladies’ Class of 1975 reunion was also held in conjunction with the traditional event. Fiona MacPhail, Depute Rector of the Primary School, gave the main address of the afternoon, and recited a touching piece of work on Hutchie’s ethos written by a Primary 7 pupil.

There were many pupil musical performances of usual high standard. As has become tradition at the annual event, the ladies then all rose to sing the Hutchesons’ Girls’ Grammar School Song.
